The Itchyworms, formed in 1996, is a renowned Filipino alternative rock band comprising Jugs Jugueta, Jazz Nicolas, Kelvin Yu, and Chino Singson. Known for their catchy tunes and humorous lyrics, they gained prominence with their 2005 album “Noontime Show,” featuring hits like “Akin Ka Na Lang” and “Beer.” Influenced by 1960s pop and rock, their music blends alternative rock, pop, and OPM. They have received numerous awards, including from the Awit Awards and NU Rock Awards. The band remains active, continually engaging fans and exploring new musical directions while maintaining their signature sound.
